Dr Isabelle Cooper
Areas of Specialisation
Dr Cooper provides anaesthesia care for most surgical and procedural medical specialties (excluding cardiac surgery). She has a special interest and sub-specialty training in paediatric anaesthesia.
Background
Dr Cooper received her medical degree from the University of Bristol, UK and worked for 2 years in the UK before moving to Melbourne in 2011. She completed her anaesthesia training through the Royal Melbourne Hospital, which included experiences at The Royal Women’s Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She undertook a Clinical Fellowship in Paediatric Anaesthesia at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and Regional Anaesthesia at The University Hospital Geelong. She has been living and working in Geelong at The University Hospital Geelong, St John of God Hospital and The Epworth Hospital Geelong since 2020.
