Dr Dashiell Reed

Dr Dash Reed is a cardiac anaesthetist and fellow of the Australian New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

He received his medical degree from Deakin University in 2011, and completed his training in anaesthesia through the University Hospital Geelong, with rotations to Alfred Health, Royal Children’s Hospital and Royal Women’s Hospital.

Dash undertook his fellowship in cardiac anaesthesia and perioperative transoesophageal echocardiography, or TOE (heart ultrasound) at University Hospital Geelong, where he continues to be employed as a staff specialist.

He also maintains a private practice at both St John of God Hospital Geelong and Epworth Geelong, offering expert anaesthesia for cardiac services as well as most general anaesthesia.

His approach combines technical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered care philosophy, and he is dedicated to improving the safety and comfort of patients undergoing procedures.
